Where to buy iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in Ireland: the shops I would check first

Official Apple image of burgundy iPhone 18 Pro models beside the headline Where to buy in Ireland.

If you want an unlocked iPhone 18 Pro without switching mobile networks, starting prices are almost the same. Apple, Currys, Harvey Norman and Select all list the 256GB Pro from €1,489, while Apple, Currys and Harvey Norman list the 256GB Pro Max at €1,639.

That makes availability and service more important than chasing a saving that is not there.

Apple is the cleanest reference price

Apple’s prices make a good baseline: Pro storage is €1,489 for 256GB, €1,739 for 512GB, €2,239 for 1TB and €2,989 for 2TB. Pro Max is €1,639, €1,889, €2,389 and €3,139 respectively.

An iPhone bought directly from Apple is unlocked, and Apple includes access to online Personal Setup. Its trade-in is an individual valuation, with the final amount confirmed after the old device is received and checked.

Currys has the clearest accessory extra

Currys lists all four 256GB Pro colours at €1,489 with fast nationwide delivery and store collection shown on the catalogue page. The equivalent Pro Max starts at €1,639. Currys also advertises 20% off selected accessories when bought with the phone.

That accessory offer only saves money if the eligible case, charger or other item is something you already intended to buy. Check the price of the bundle against buying your preferred accessory elsewhere, and remember the iPhone box does not include a power adapter.

Harvey Norman

Harvey Norman’s Irish range lists the 256GB Pro at €1,489 and the 256GB Pro Max at €1,639 across several colours. Its 512GB listings match Apple’s €1,739 and €1,889 reference prices.

The decision here is likely to come down to the selected colour’s stock, a useful collection point or a finance option that fits your budget. Read the fulfilment message on the individual product, because a catalogue listing does not guarantee immediate local stock.

Select is useful if you want Apple-focused support

Select lists the Pro from €1,489 and describes itself as an Apple Premium Partner. They offer free home delivery for orders over €40, Click and Collect, trade-in, AppleCare+ and support services. For items in stock, it says orders before 3pm are eligible for next-day delivery; other items can take longer.

Select also shows third-party financing examples. Treat the monthly figure as an invitation to inspect the agreement, not as the phone’s price. Compare the total repayable, term, fees and credit conditions with paying outright.

Do not let storage quietly double the bill

The 2TB Pro costs €1,500 more than the 256GB model; the same €1,500 gap applies to the Pro Max. Before spending that much, check Settings > General > iPhone Storage on your current phone. A large video library or professional recording workflow may justify more space. Many buyers will be better served by 256GB or 512GB.

The Pro Max adds €150 at every matching storage level. Pay that premium for the larger display and battery advantage, not because the word “Max” sounds more complete.

My buying recommendation

If the model you want is available at the same price everywhere, choose the seller that gives you the clearest delivery promise and the support route you prefer. Apple is the straightforward baseline. Currys is worth checking for a genuine accessory saving. Harvey Norman may be convenient for local collection. Select is attractive if Apple-focused retail support matters to you.

Avoid unfamiliar marketplace listings that are only slightly cheaper. Confirm the seller, Irish warranty route, VAT invoice, exact model and return policy before paying. A reputable retailer at the standard price is often the calmer purchase for a phone costing well over €1,000.
